Villa Thai Sawan is a magnificent Thai-Balinese 8-bedroom villa tucked on the beautiful mountainside of Kalim Bay. The villa is only 5 minutes away from downtown Patong, yet completely private and quiet with its sea view to the front side and forested mountains to the rear side.
The villa was originally built in 2010 and has been updated and expanded until the current time, with the most recent refurbishment being in 2024. Thus, the villa has a fresh feel throughout. MAIN BUILDING
In the main building, guests can find a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table crafted from a huge solid piece of Balinese wood, a breakfast counter, a living room with cable television, DVD player and sound system and a nicely decorated convenient washroom. The main building has two master bedrooms on the second floor.
OUTDOOR AND POOL
From the main building, guests can step outside onto a large, covered terrace area with another dining table and a sofa lounging area offering views of the pool, the sea, and the sunset. From here, guests can walk down to the pool and its surrounding lounging chairs and a huge awning covering an 8 seaters sofa, or they can follow the covered walkways leading to the south and north wings of the villa.
SOUTH WING
To the left, guests will find a walkway that leads to the villa’s furnished 1-bedroom apartment and to a gym fully equipped with a treadmill, step climber, free weights, boxing bags and multi station weight machine. There is also a dry sauna, a steam room and a washroom located in the gym room. Moving on, guests will find two other guest bedrooms and an air-conditioned massage room perched on the second floor of a sala, completely surrounded by windows and thereby offering unobstructed views of the ocean and the mountains.
NORTH WING
To the right, guests will find an office equipped with a large wooden desk and office chair, two single armchairs, and office supplies such as a printer/scanner/fax, paper, pencils, and books. Further to the right, there are two additional bedrooms and a large open air comfortable lounging area located on a second floor of a sala offering the best sea and sunset views. This is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine or celebrate with a bottle of champagne!
Apart from the unusual mostly single level space that the villa offers, a main attraction of the property is its close proximity to Kalim and Patong. Within a few minutes’ drive, one can be at the beach or downtown Patong with its vibrant shopping, dining and nightlife. As such the villa makes a fantastic residential home or holiday / rental investment property.
